Push Back Rack
Let Gravity Help Your Storage
Push back Racking allows for smooth, versatile material handling from both ends
Push back racks work by placing pallet loads on a series of nesting carts that are fed forward by gravity. Flow is achieved by gravity moving the carts along the inclined rails, which are adjustable vertically to control pitch.
As a pallet is loaded from the front, it pushes the pallet behind it back one position. With a push back rack system, every lane can be accessed at all times, which means any lane can be 100% filled from the aisle without affecting any other adjacent lanes above or below.
Push back racks allow for easily accessible, last-in-first-out (LIFO) inventory management; however, you can easily rotate your stock on a first-in-first-out (FIFO) basis since you can access every bay from the aisle.
Material is “pushed back” when new material is loaded in front, saving manpower and increasing efficiency. The glide rails have an adjustable pitch.
Pull out material, and the next pallet safely glides into its place, ready for the next pull. It’s a fast and efficient way to store fast moving material.
Front or Back
Material can be accessed from either side, allowing for both LIFO and FILO storage. This makes it an extremely versatile solution.
