We’ll handle the details, so you don’t have to.
Did you know Next Level is more than a manufacturer of pallet racks and material handling products? We are a true material handling solutions provider, offering a full range of services nationwide. Here’s a look at the services we offer to help you complete your projects efficiently, safely, and on time.
We understand that your project isn’t complete until the storage systems are in place & operational. And we also know that a faulty installation could mean putting people, equipment, and products at risk. Don’t take a chance on a sub-standard installation; enlist a qualified, experienced pallet rack installer to get it right the first time.
Next Level can install storage equipment, conveyors, & controls for all types of material handling needs. Our qualified installation teams have experience working in a variety of buildings across North America. After evaluating your storage space and material handling needs, our installers coordinate with Next Level engineers to leave no room for error. Safety is paramount– we don’t take shortcuts!
Whether installing gravity flow, push back rack, drive-in/drive-thru rack, or another specialty rack, our qualified rack installers follow all approved specifications & design layout drawings to ensure a properly engineered installation
You will save a lot of valuable time, as well as a lot of headaches, by taking advantage of permitting services. Back in the 70s and 80s, permits for pallet racking systems were non-existent, but warehousing has changed a lot in the last 30 years, and now most city building departments require a permit to erect and use pallet racks and other storage systems that are over 12 feet tall, or over 8 feet tall in seismic areas.
Storage rack structures are a convenient target for regulators, so it’s not worth the risk of trying to get by without permitting. A “red tag” could bring your construction project to halt, delaying the project, and thus delaying your ability to store product, in addition to possibly changing the planned layout, materials, and the types of lift trucks and other equipment intended for the job.
Next Level has extensive experience nationwide in obtaining approved permits for erecting storage rack systems. We will submit all the drawings and calculations to the appropriate department and then coordinate the approvals with the Building Inspector to ensure a sign-off that works for your schedule and allows use of your racking as soon as you need it.
Warehouse Project Management
Project management is the application of knowledge, skills, and techniques to execute projects effectively and efficiently from conception through completion.
Next Level provides engineering, permitting and systems integration to and ensure that your project is on time and on budget. When realigning or reorganizing facilities, we understand the importance of operating schedules and uptime requirements. We have the leadership and communication skills and knowledge of PM methodologies to produce the results you are expecting for your warehouse project.
Implementing regular warehouse inspections is crucial to any warehouse safety strategy. Equipment maintenance and safety is incredibly important, not just because of the huge expense tied up in inventory and equipment, but also because one warehouse accident can set a company back for years.
Annual safety audits can help in determining whether investment in new mechanical or structural equipment is needed, identify abuse, and quantify remaining life. Structural audits can also be done to investigate the effects of rack re-profiling, damage, and code changes.
Next Level offers equipment & safety audits performed by highly trained, certified safety experts. These audits are done for warehouse equipment such as fork-lift trucks, battery chargers and changers, as well as pallet rack systems.
Seismic Engineering (Seismic Warehouse Design)
Seismic specifications in many areas of our country are critical to the safe operation of storage racks and knowing the code in your location if you are in a riskier seismic zone is very important. Seismic engineering requirements are site specific and can be different for each location depending on the geography of that area.
Next Level can perform seismic engineering analyses and detailed designs for your material storage systems, whether for a new installation or an existing structure. Existing structures are reviewed to determine the ability of the system to take on upgrades or design changes, to ascertain the system’s current seismic strength, and to bring it up to code if there have been regulatory or safety changes that need addressing. We will ensure that you are protected no matter where your building is located.
Professional engineers design Next Level pallet rack to exceed the specifications of the Rack Manufacturers Institute (RMI). Meeting specific seismic criteria is never a problem, and we are always prepared to design custom solutions for your unique material storage and facility needs.
